Forschungsschwerpunkt

In meiner Doktorarbeit werde ich mithilfe von RADseq daran arbeiten molekulare Mechanismen von rapid evolution in einheimischen und nicht-einheimischen Conyza canadensis Populationen zu analysieren. Mithilfe von landschaftsgenomischen Techniken sollen adaptive und nicht-adaptive Triebkräfte auf die globale genomische Struktur dieser weit verbreiteten Pflanze herausgefunden werden. Mit einem großangelegten Gewächshausversuch möchte ich zudem genomische Assoziationen von intraspezifischen Traits von C. canadensis in Bezug auf phenotypische (Konkurrzenfähigkeit) und metabelomische (Wurzelexudate) Merkmale analysieren.
