Research

I am interested in various plant ecological research in Central European ecosystems. The nature conservation aspect is important to me. I have done research in invasion biology and vegetation ecology. I am currently working on the population ecology and pollinator networks of the cowslip (Primula veris). This species is particularly protected in Germany, is on the early warning list of endangered plant species and can be regarded as a model species for plant communities in base-rich, semi-arid grasslands.
