I am interested in the importance of intraspecific trait variation in plant-plant interactions community assembly, with special focus on leaf traits of trees. Specifically, in my PhD I am studying changes of intra-specific trait variation and intra-individual trait variation in response to local tree diversity. For that, I am measuring a set of different morphological and chemical leaf functional traits in different tree diversity experiments.
