Mein Forschungsschwerpunkt liegt in Eco-evolutionären Aspekten der Pflanzeninvasion. Ich bin besonders daran interessiert, wie sich genomische Veränderungen in nativen und nicht-nativen Populationen auf das invasive Potential einer Art auswirkt, mit einem Augenmerk auf lokale Umweltveränderungen. Für derartige Untersuchungen arbeite ich bevorzugt mit Solidago gigantea und Conyza canadensis.
